Movie script

 In recent lessons, we have been creating a script for the opening of our thriller movie. Me and my group have devised a script and been working hard on it the last couple of lessons. This will most likely not change and we will follow this throughout our opening.

1)     Camera starts with following blood trail and destruction in a domestic household that has been destroyed with upturned tables etc.	Distant shouts and screams
2)     Still following blood trail through apartment getting closer to noises	Hearing distant shouting in another room and a voiceover kicks in of caregiver (audience don’t know who it is yet) reading out the description of marriage maybe
3)     Camera gets closer to shouting and it gets more intense as camera starts to pan up to people shouting stops and audience hears a thud of a body maybe (but don’t see killer)	Shouting gets more intense, and music gets more intense too.
4)     Cuts to a man or woman in a nurse uniform	Scribbling on notepad maybe
5)     Caregiver walks up to old man lying on a hospital bed which is in an apartment	footsteps
6)     She/he starts to talk to him in a friendly manner, he doesn’t reply	“How are you doing today Mr Robertson feeling better… Mr Robertson?”
7)     she/he whips round looking worried and walks up to old man and gently shakes him	“Mr Robertson… are you ok”
8)     he doesn’t move so the caregiver checks pulse he/she has worried look on face	“Hello… oh my god, Mr Robertson”  Music kicks in
9)     the caregiver runs to phone (to call 999)	“Oh no, oh no, you’re going to be ok Mr Robertson”
10)   caregiver hears screaming and shouting (distant)	Heavy breathing  Music stops
11)   caregiver hesitates to call and goes to look out window	Creaky floorboards Heavy breathing
12)   caregiver scans windows in neighbouring apartment	Music starts to build again
13)   caregiver spots a person heavily breathing with blood on face (face hidden by camera)	Music has a quick jump Then slows down again
14)   phone drops on floor (smashes)	Smash/crack sound
15)   sporadically (she closes window quickly and making noise)	Large bang noise  Music speeds up
16)   killer person whips round and spots the caregiver and the caregiver looks at the killer (killer has camcorder in hand so don’t see face)	Music really fast  Caregiver screams
17)   camera cuts to static then turns off like an old TV	Music intensifies Static noise Old TV shutoff noise
